OMSC Murtha Campus bags First Placer Award for ASEAN Month Painting Contest

Mr. Narriel Espiritu, a BS Agriculture student from Murtha Campus, represented the campus during the ASEAN Month Painting Contest organized by the External Linkages and International Affairs of the College on August 29 with the theme “Buwan ng ASEAN: Sama- sama sa Pag-unlad” (ASEAN Month: Together for Progress). Among the various participants from the colleges of the institution, Mr. Espiritu emerged as the First Placer for the painting contest which promotes awareness and appreciation of the role of ASEAN in the regional unity, cooperation, and progress. With his artwork, Mr. Espiritu successfully showcased his creativity and artistic expression in participating in the celebration of the ASEAN Month.

Onion Ice Cream is a unique delicacy created by Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC). It uses the province’s famous onions as the main ingredient, turning them into a sweet and creamy dessert. This special treat showcases the creativity of OMSC while promoting local products.

Kabilang dito ang pananaliksik sa wika, pagsasalin, seminar at workshop, cultural mapping, paligsahan sa sining at panitikan, at mga aktibidad na nagpo-promote ng kultura at sining ng Occidental Mindoro.
Ang SWK ay opisina sa Occidental Mindoro State College na nagtataguyod ng wikang Filipino at kultura ng mga Mindoreño. Layunin nitong mapanatili, mapalaganap, at mapahalagahan ang ating wika, sining, at pamana.
